Govathoti Sudhitha is a student of BSc (Nutrition and Dietetics) at St. Francis College, Hyderabad. She completed her undergraduate studies in the same Course with a CGPA of 7.9. She’s currently pursuing MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics in the same college and and has completed her first year. Her father’s ambition is to ensure the best education to all of his children (in line with Babasaheb’s ideals).
Sudhitha is the daughter of G. Jalandhar who is a first-generation diploma holder working in a private company in Hyderabad. She is the youngest of three siblings. Sudhitha’s oldest sister Mounika has just gone abroad with an Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship, after finishing B. Tech. The Govt. Of Telangana has to send her first instalment of fees. Her other older sister has finished her B. Tech in civil engineering and is looking for employment.
Obtaining higher education for all has been quite literally a struggle, which is very visible now, as the middle class family strives hard to pay for its educational goals.
Now, the family needs to pay Sudhitha’s college fees, books, and lab requirements — a sum of Rs. 1,50,000 — which is due by 01/06/2024. The family’s current financial status is not up to the mark.
